Stand alone Systems
A stand-alone system or non-grid tied system is a PV system that stores the electricity produced in batteries.
It is necessary for a stand-alone system to be designed and planned extremely carefully in order to maximise the returns, minimise the costs and ensure that performance matches expectation.
We design our systems from concept to installation based on a very detailed study of the customer requirements and the loads that the system will serve.
The system is supervised by a charge controller, ensuring that the batteries are kept at optimum charge and are neither overcharged nor run down excessively, therefore maximising life and efficiency.
CPCE can design systems for almost any requirement. For example, a hybrid system to be used with other generators such as a wind turbine or a diesel generator to maximise the financial cost effectiveness of the system would certainly be part of the design consideration.
